This is how Bubblestory collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our service.
Bubblestory ("we", "us", "our") is a sole proprietorship based in India that operates bubblestory.io (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what we collect and what we do with it.
01Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect: name, email address, and authentication credentials (managed by our authentication provider).
Content you upload
We collect and process the text content you submit (chats, journals, stories, poems, scripts, etc.) and any reference images you provide for character generation. This content is processed to deliver the Service.
Generated output
The comic pages, prompts, and intermediate artifacts produced from your content are stored in your account.
Payment information
Payment is processed by our payment partners. We do not store your full card details. We retain transaction metadata (amount, date, payment method type, customer reference) for accounting and support purposes.
Usage & technical data
We collect server-side logs related to your interactions with the Service (page generations, requests, error events), device and browser metadata, and IP address, plus storage items necessary for authentication.

- To process your text content into comic outputs
- To process payments and manage subscriptions
- To communicate with you about your account, support requests, and service updates
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues

03Third-party processors
To deliver the Service, we share certain data with third-party processors that help us operate. These include AI providers that process your text and generate the illustrated panels of your comic, infrastructure providers (hosting, storage, content delivery, authentication), payment processors that handle your subscriptions and one-time purchases, and email service providers that handle account and support correspondence.
Each processor handles your data under their own privacy policies and is bound by data-protection terms with us. We do not sell your personal information. A current list of the specific vendors we use is available on request — email [email protected].
04Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. EU/UK GDPR, California CCPA), you may have rights to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")

- Receive a portable copy of your data
- Withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent)

05Data retention
We retain account data and generated content for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we delete personal data within a reasonable time, except where we are legally required to retain certain records (such as transaction records required for tax or accounting purposes).

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and access controls. No system is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
07International data transfers
Bubblestory is operated from India, and our processors are located across multiple jurisdictions including the United States and the European Union. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your data to these jurisdictions, which may have different data-protection laws than your own.
08Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
09Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage for authentication and session management. We do not currently run analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings. See our Cookie Policy for details.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the Service. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
