Refund Policy

We want you to have a good experience with BubbleStory. This policy explains when refunds are available and how to request one.
Quick summary: Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase for unused subscription credits or unused credit packs. Generated comics and consumed credits are non-refundable. To request a refund, email support@bubblestory.io.
1. Subscription Refunds
If you subscribe to a monthly plan and decide it isn't right for you:
- Within 7 days of initial purchase: If you have not consumed any of your monthly page allowance, we will issue a full refund on request.
- If you have consumed any pages: We will issue a prorated refund based on unused page allowance, at our discretion.
- After 7 days, or for renewals: Subscription fees are non-refundable. You can cancel future renewals at any time from your account dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access to the Service until then.
2. Credit-Pack Refunds
One-time credit-pack purchases are refundable as follows:
- Fully unused packs within 30 days of purchase: Refundable in full.
- Partially used packs: A prorated refund may be issued for the unused balance, within 30 days of purchase, at our discretion.
- After 30 days: Non-refundable. Credits remain in your account and do not expire.
3. What Is Not Refundable
- Comic pages that have been generated, regardless of your satisfaction with the artistic output (please see our note on AI-generated content below)
- Credits or page allowances that have been consumed
- Subscription periods after the first 7 days, except where required by applicable law
- Renewals (cancel before renewal to avoid being charged)
4. AI-Generated Content & Quality Issues
Comic outputs are generated by AI models and may not match every expectation. Variations in style, character likeness, panel composition, or text rendering are an inherent part of generative AI and are not grounds for a refund of consumed pages.
However, if you experience a clear technical failure (e.g. corrupted output, blank pages, missing pages, or system error during generation), please contact us — we will investigate and, where appropriate, restore the consumed credits to your account at no charge.
5. How to Request a Refund
Email support@bubblestory.io with:
- The email address associated with your BubbleStory account
- Order/transaction reference (visible in your purchase confirmation email)
- Reason for the refund request
We respond to refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued via your original payment method within 5-10 business days, depending on your card issuer or payment provider.
6. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute through your bank or card issuer, your account may be suspended pending resolution. We strongly prefer that you contact us first — most issues can be resolved faster directly than through your bank's dispute process.
7. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under applicable law in your jurisdiction (such as the EU Consumer Rights Directive or similar). If you are an EU consumer purchasing a digital service, please note that you may waive your 14-day withdrawal right by beginning to use the service immediately after purchase.
