Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BubbleStory ("Service"), operated by A. D. Gadhiya, sole proprietor, trading as BubbleStory ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

BubbleStory is a software-as-a-service platform that converts user-uploaded text content (such as chat conversations, journals, stories, poems, scripts, letters, and lyrics) into multi-page illustrated narrative comics using AI-powered image and language generation pipelines. Output is delivered as digital files (PDF and image formats).

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@bubblestory.io if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Subscriptions, Credits & Billing

BubbleStory offers (a) recurring monthly subscription tiers and (b) one-time credit-pack purchases. All prices are in USD. Payment is processed by our third-party payment partners, who act as Merchant of Record where applicable.

• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle until cancelled.
• You may cancel anytime via your account dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Subscription page allowances reset each billing period and do not roll over.
• Credit-pack pages do not expire.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to upload, generate, or distribute content that:

• Is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, fraudulent, or violates the rights of any third party (including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights);
• Contains sexually explicit material involving minors, or other content prohibited by applicable law;
• Promotes violence, hate, or discrimination based on protected characteristics;
• Contains malware, exploits, or attempts to interfere with the Service's operation;
• Misrepresents your identity or impersonates any person or entity.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without prior notice.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of the text content you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to process, store, and use your content solely to operate the Service, including transmission to our AI processing partners (such as OpenAI and Google Cloud) for generation purposes.

5.2 Generated Output

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, you own the comic outputs generated from your content. You may use them for personal use under all plans. Commercial use is permitted under the Studio plan and credit-pack purchases of equivalent or greater volume; contact us for clarification on enterprise licensing.

5.3 Our Service

BubbleStory's name, logo, art style library, prompts, models, and underlying software are our intellectual property. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our IP to you.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimers

Comic output is generated by AI models and may contain inaccuracies, artistic interpretations that differ from your input, or unexpected stylistic results. We do not guarantee that any specific output will meet your expectations. You are responsible for reviewing output before sharing or publishing.

7. Privacy

Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where practical.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BubbleStory and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunity, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, demand, or damages (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms or for any reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases; certain provisions (intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) survive termination.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gujarat, India.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
